Film crews, take care: get your cameras out of the box and wax your boards and skis! With an open international video contest, the Snowpark Guide celebrates its 10th anniversary and the relaunch of its website. For each of the 37 presented snow parks, a film crew will be chosen. Each crew will receive six one-day lift tickets to carry out their film project.
Then, a jury will crown the best 3 of the submitted clips. Each of the winning crews will be rewarded with a top-quality Contour GPS helmet camera. If you and your buddies would like to join in, apply on www.snowparkguide.com now!
The participation in the Snowpark Guide Video Contest is simple: just choose one of the 37 Snowpark Guide resorts and explain in a short application e-mail to videocontest@snowparkguide.com why you want to produce a video in this snow park. Entry deadline is the 31st of December 2010.
Then, the Snowpark Guide editors will choose one crew per snow park. Each of the selected crews will obtain six one-day lift tickets to put their film project into operation. Until the 15th of February 2011, they’ll have to produce a five-minutemaximum clip at the snow park of their choice. An expert jury will judge the submitted clips. The evaluation criteria are camera/editing, story line/style and creativity. The top 3 video crews will be rewarded with a Contour GPS helmet camera each!
Apart from the video contest, www.snowparkguide.com offers loads of facts, pictures and park maps of the 37 best snow parks in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Slovenia. Plus, there’s up-to-date news and event information.
The Snowpark Guide was established in 2001 and is a free annual print magazine presenting high-quality winter sport resorts of the Central Alps. The website of the Snowpark Guide provides you with online updates on a daily basis.
